My Paintings bear the touch of Indian mythology and ‘yantra’ which are both beyond life and the physical world in their philosophical aspects. Through my paintings one can feel and experience, vicariously, the ancient and rich heritage which once was ours.
Myths have hidden energy which can be felt if one has full faith in them. By the use of characters, colors, symbols and ‘yantra’ forms, I have tried to create and atmosphere conducive to that faith which generates energy. Words and alphabets are linked with ‘yantra’ and ‘mantras’ (meaningful syllabic sounds). In themselves, ‘yantra’ do not vibrate, but when linked with ‘mantras’ they become more meaningful and forceful. My paintings are thus an expression of the meta-physical through the physical.
